The former sitcom actress, who also recently celebrated her and Portia’s 20th anniversary as a couple, also showed fans a photo of herself with her natural gray and brown hair on her eponymous talk show in 2019.
“When you have short hair, you have to color it often, ’cause my hair grows really fast,” the former host said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at the time. “I’m constantly coloring it, so it always looks different when you watch the show. Some days it’s a different tone.”
She also recalled dealing with post-dye job hair loss. “My hair was falling out,” she said, joking, “I think my hair was so embarrassed, it didn’t want anything to do with my head and said, ‘I’m getting out of here.'”
